1st H.E.L.P./Motorola Solutions Foundation Scholarship

The 1st H.E.L.P./Motorola Solutions Scholarship is the first of its kind post-secondary scholarship for children of first responders who died by suicide. This scholarship will provide much-needed financial aid and serve as a reminder that they are not forgotten and that their future is important. This scholarship will honor their fallen parent for their honorable service while providing encouragement and needed financial support to help them persevere.

The significance of this grant should not be understated. This will provide financial relief to families who receive no benefits upon losing their loved ones to suicide. It is also a statement to those families that the service of their loved ones mattered, and the stigma associated with suicide and mental health is starting to wane. Our families are grateful for Motorola’s leadership, understanding and commitment.
