The 1-Day #ResponderReadiness Workshop trains an entire community of First Responders. The program consists of one Responder Readiness Workshops where First Responders participate in dynamic and highly engaging training on matters of Performance, Persistence, and Prevention. The workshop is an exploration of how trauma and stress impact our lives and careers and what we can do about it. Participants will leave prepared to confront their own stressors, engage peers in an #IWillListen Conversation using the Results Oriented Communication Model, and have a set of five resilience skills they can practice on and off the job. Participants should expect to leave the workshop with a better understanding of how stress and trauma affect first responder performance and be equipped with techniques to build resilience and initiate difficult conversations.
