#IWillListen Ruck

First H.E.L.P.’s #IWillListen Campaign call upon First Responders throughout the country to join us as we SMASH THE STIGMA that prevents women and men of the law enforcement profession from seeking mental health services as early as possible. By making the commitment to listen and talk to one another we can create a culture where it’s OK to talk about mental health and wellness.

Donations will support the work of First H.E.L.P. (Honor, Educate, Lead, and Prevent)

Since 2019, we’ve recognized individual First Responders, one mile at a time.  But we can only recognize those that are reported to us.  If you are aware of a First Responder lost to suicide in this year or any other please share that information with us so they can be honored for the way the lived and served.

1 Mile At a Time

Each year since 2019 Board Member and retired Army First Sergeant, Joe Willis has honored First Reponders lost to suicide by hiking one-mile for each one.

In the last 50-days of each year, November 11th – December 31st Joe
hikes 1 mile for each first responder reported to have been lost to suicide since January 1st. He honors the responders from each state one day at a time.

New reports received after November 11th will be honored on December 31st.
