San Antonio, TX – From January 10 – 12, Joe Willis and Steve Hough conducted a Responder Readiness Workshop hosted by Bexar County, Fire District 7. Denise Thompson, the District’s Wellness Director for District 7 worked with area peer support teams and wellness coordinators to bring the training to more than 60 participants from 12 Agencies cover 5 counties surrounding San Antonio, TX.
Four Workshops and a Train the Trainer Course.
On Monday and Tuesday, the Workshop consists of four 4-hour workshops: two First Responder Workshops, a Supervisor Workshop, and Provider Workshop. On Wednesday the First H.E.L.P. offers a train the Trainer workshop course for graduates to train the Responder readiness program to responders in their own communities.
